Kurling is a form of the original curling game, but adapted so that it can be played indoors on any smooth, flat surface, such as a sports hall, rather than on ice. We took a team of four Year 4 children to try out this new sport.
Although it was really tricky to start with- and we had a whole game without scoring- we showed resilience, kept trying our best and soon got the hang of it! At the end of the competition we came second in our group (out of seven schools) and we also came second in the whole tournament (15 schools) for showing sportsmanship and teamwork; but best of all we enjoyed ourselves!
We also got the chance to have a go at table cricket, which is cricket played on a table tennis table!
