Art Week in Year 1
We learnt all about Vincent van Gogh during art week. We focused on his famous ‘sunflowers’ painting and tried painting our own sunflowers.
During Art week, we also learnt about a European composer. Our composer was Camille Saint-Saëns and he was a French composer. We listened to ‘Carnival of the Animals’ and we were so inspired that we decided to compose our own music for different animals.
