A small team of gymnasts went to the Intermediate School Games Gymnastics Competition and demonstrated their skills to over 50 other gymnasts. The girls were very successful with two of them coming away with a Silver and Bronze medal respectively and a place at the County Finals in March. A third came 14th (out of 55), just missing a place in the finals and the fourth gymnast got a personal best on vault. We are very proud of their achievements.
On Monday, the girls’ football team took part in the district finals having won the first round of this event. The winners from each group of the first round played against each other to decide on a winning team to go through to the county finals. The girls played exceptionally well winning one of their matches and drawing in a second match, but unfortunately they lost against the team that were the eventual winners.
