The whole school have been busy preparing floral displays for the flower festival which coincides with the Mitcheldean Open Gardens this weekend. Year 6 worked in pairs to create miniature gardens which can be viewed in the entrance to the Church. Here are some action shots and the finished products. I am sure that you agree that they are fantastic. None of this would have been possible without the donations from parents and grandparents, so thank you.
As part of our outdoor education we visited Beechenhurst and took part in numerous activities, such as tree identification, a scavenger hunt and den building. We used this to inspire our writing!
We were very lucky to have Dick Brice come and teach us how to dance in a Ceilidh. He even treated us to a song on the guitar and some of his poetry.
